Flick-Chess Variant

I tried playing it on the other site, but I didn't know how. What are the exact rules?
I don't think ornicar would add this, it is definitely not a chess-like game, and that's what he wants insofar as variants for Lichess. He's already said he won't add variants like dark chess and bughouse, so this is even less likely.
I haven't had a chance to look at the pull request yet but I'll be able get to it by the end of today (I'm on PST so within a few hours).

I'll try to describe the rules as they exist now as unambiguously as I can:

In Knipse-Sjakk (Flick-Chess), you take turns with your opponent "flicking" chess pieces to send them flying across the board. To flick a piece in a certain direction, drag it in the opposite direction and release (like a slingshot). The maximum speed at which you can flick a piece is achieved by dragging the piece back one chessboard square; dragging any further will not make it go faster. After all pieces come to rest, the first enemy piece touched is removed (captured) in addition to any pieces that have ended up completely off the board. If a king was captured the game ends. At the end of the game, if a player's king remains on the board, that player wins, otherwise it's a draw. If no kings were captured, the other player takes his/her turn.

I typed this on my phone so feel free to fix any typos I may have made. Also let me know if anything's not clear. It might make sense for an insufficient material draw to occur in the event of only kings being present, but that's not in effect now.

This variant is clearly very different from any currently in place and I trust ornicar and the other devs to make the right decision for this site. After all, I hope to continue to play and improve at regular chess for many years to come here, if adding this variant right now would get in the way of that for me or others, I would completely understand. I might actually prefer variants closer to chess like bughouse or Seirawan chess to be added rather than this if it were an option. That said, as an idea of mine I'm very curious about how and if this variant would work from a game design point of view. Maybe this could be on a low back burner: it could be used as an Easter egg of sorts, or added in its entirety in the future when it makes more sense.

Anyway, thanks to those willing to discuss it, and especially Toadofsky for being good enough to go through my code and deploy a server for testing!
Your welcome, @neravan . If we have more variants, this site can expand more. People who don't know how to play chess can have the pleasure of winning their first online Lichess game. This will make more people flock to this site, which means more patrons, which means more money for Lichess, which means more expansion, which means...

...and to think, it all started with a few people who wanted to add Flick Chess to this wonderful site. Good job, @Toadofsky. You have made my day.
I think flick-chess should be added as a break from chess. For example, if I play chess or do chess puzzles for hours together, my brain gets a little tired. I think flick-chess should be added for those moments.
