Max time spent playing

How to turn off these stats?
I don't want it to be public.
Why such thing is even public in the first place?
Please remove it.
This is some sort of breach of privacy.
Good point. Lichess should make you able to choose what to put in your profile description.

I'm curious, how is it a breach of privacy?

As a chess player, I'd imagine that for example having all your games publicly available should concern you more than just the total amount of time spent. And those games are there. But they don't breach your privacy as long as you keep your profile from containing personal information that can identify you.

As a person, I can't see how that number constitutes a piece of personal data at all.
According to standard regulations on privacy, sensitive information can be defined as "data that requires protection because its loss, misuse, modification, or unauthorized access will negatively impact the welfare, privacy, assets, or security of an organization or individual". I can't see that number falling into any of that.

That's why I said sort of. It's not according to any regulations, it's subjective.
It is personal information and I bet many if not most of the people wouldn't ever like to have it there.
What is even the point of that nonsense not chess related statistic?
I also don't want that information shared publicly. As a matter of fact, I don't even want to know that stat myself.

Lichess: Frogster, you've spent 23 days on Lichess since 2017. And how much time did you spend with your kids? You also drank 1512 beers during that time. Isn't that a bit excessive?

There are things you don't need to know. :)
@pirouetti
How is it personal info?
Personal credentials are name, age, dob, address, etc.
I hope you are quite aged enough to know it!
That's just game time and it's common. Even if it was not right, then someone would have filed case against it initially but no one did before.

I hope you are quite aged enough to know that info doesn't mean credentials.

"Filed a case"? Didn't I just say:
"It's not according to any regulations, it's subjective."

There was quite long discussion about it on lichess forum and github issue opened, yet seems to be quite forgotten.
Many people were rooting for these stats to be hidden or optional.

It is perfectly possible to reveal the real identity of an anonymous player based solely on the games played here on lichess. I was able to that several times already so it is an illusion to think that you can play on lichess anonymously.

So I sympathize with the people not willing to share info about their time spent here. Such info can be used against us and is therefore definitely subject of our privacy.
