Quick Game

With peaks at 20,000 online players, lichess is big enough to have it all: Lobby seeks, Pools, and Tournaments. Even if these features overlap each other.
Don't auto pair with standard seeks, for example: @Amrotu this guy plays exclusively with lower rated opponents, he gets an unfair advantage if you autopair him with the pool players.
Are these pools closed in some way, if comparing with tournaments saying "tournaments are pools" or are you randomly matched to other players with same rating range on the whole server.
I think 15+15 should be 15+10, like official Rapid time controls.
#10 "So it's a pool system? You gave in @thibault. What happened to "tournaments are pools", ey? :P"

Actually, pools have been tried at least twice on the site, looks like the third time may be the charm! @DoTheMath
#12 I'm not sure if playing only with lower or higher rated players will alter your rating. When you suddenly lose against a lower rated you went down MANY points even if you often win. Reversely will happen when only playing higher rated. If you win once your rating went up very much even if you mostly lose.
@xiaodaxia2009 No, we should NOT have 15/0 instead of 15+15. Non increment chess is outdated and not good for the rating system. We don't need to know who can simply win on time.

Believe me, we know why some of you love this non increment garbage: You don't want your weak endgame skills exploited. Well, tough. That's chess. Let's start finishing games instead of simply ending them abruptly because of a "flag". 15+15 tells us FAR more about who the better player is than 15+0.
@Dionysus_god No, the guy I quoted said it should be 15/0. Look at the last page.

Anyway, I see that you're going with the increment in any event. Great. The only thing is that this auto pairing feature is gone again. It's back to the way things were yesterday. As said in another thread, they're probably just working on it.

The question others have raised still stands: Will there be separate ratings for the auto pairing pools? How will that work?
