If you were in Nepo's shoes right now, what would you do?

Imagine you are in Ian's shoes right now. What would you do? How would you approach the rest of the match?

Try to remember that even if he loses every game he still wins $800,000.00 :-)

keep sticking to the english opening
try to go out of book as soon as possible
go for crazy positions
because if there is anything nepo is clearly better than magnus in it's crazy positions

Well. just keep playing and try his best , even if he has not so good or high probabilities to even win the next 3 games to draw the match.

Review Magnuses blunders, find a pattern, go for similar positions, maybe even include bullet, blitz and rapid.

It's played until 7.5, there is still room for maneuver, if instead Nepo it was Stockfish 14, the odds would be against Carlsen.

Maybe try to forget about the match. Just strive to give the chess world some interesting games against Magnus. Strive to give the chess world something memorable about this tournament, even if Magnus wins.

The yet another title feeling for Magnus could be a serious handicap for getting the 7.5 points. He gets over confident, blunders, gets nervous loses two games, tilts and the title goes for Nepo. In my opinion from the chess point of view their skills are similar, Carlsen has the momentum but it all can get quite tricky.
