Okay, I get that you are banning keyboard, but is this really necessary?

@wisherwhacker yes I'm thinking about forking Lichess and adding a proper KB support. I can do this if there is a demand.
Guys, sorry for post - question, I just realized...what is KB ban? Someone explain pls!

@DrZwischenzug you didn't understand the post. He will not be getting that rating back. Basically in a tourney, if you join a game and don't start, you lose. So he's a KB player and joined an ultra game against an opponent rated >1000 points under him. But that popup said TOC has changed, and wouldn't allow him to play a move because he had KB installed. He would have needed to quickly open an incognito window, login, join the game and play a move before the abort countdown. I would ahve been able to do this because I can type my username and password very quickly and have decent ping with lichess.org. But he or she would have also have needed to think of that on his feet, a "tactic" if you will, but not a chess related tactic. Anyway. My explanation should help if you don't know about tournaments or lichess.org or anything like that.

I could probably but gaining 25 rating points at 2400 level is extremely hard. Like beating 2100 players gives me like 1 rating, I would have to adopt a 2100 2.5 times to get 25 rating points

> Now that you've realised that the extension is banned, remove it!

Already did it, but not fast enough unfortunately

> Also, correct me if I am wrong, after the update yesterday, there was a popup on the bottom of the screen saying something like
> "The Terms of Service have been updated as of December 28, 2021."

I explained it from my POV here:
lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/okay-i-get-that-you-are-banning-keyboard-but-is-this-really-necessary?page=2#14

in short: There was two TOS changes, in the first one they did not ban keyboard, but one hour later they did. I accepted the new TOS after the first change, but before the second change, if that makes sense :)
good job for lichess for disabling this, it did give some people advantage over other players with a mouse only.

users who still want to use it, maybe find a way of having casual tournaments against each other?
maybe create a team to organize your tournaments?
Can anyone from Lichess admins team answer my question please?
lichess.org/page/play-extensions says:
>Extensions that assist with playing moves have denatured fast chess to the point that many players won't play it anymore. We believe that banning keyboard extensions will result in UltraBullet and HyperBullet becoming more popular.
So you only allowed a slow input method to make UltraBullet more interesting? How does it even make sense?

NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE XD

(i know i'll get downvoted like hell for this but still. a 1300 talking trash to a 2400?)
why doesn't lichess just do an ultrabullet KB and an ultrabullet no KB?
