Once I was playing in an OTB tournament. One big open section. Rating at the time was between 1900 and 2000 and first round I get paired against an 1100. This happened: lichess.org/study/vCSYeIfB

We all still blunder and lose to lower rated players. That's what the "Worst rated defeats" category is for on here.
