Yum chocolate snails .
I dont know about real snails. My mum said they are delicious but I've never really been motivated to try them.
It seems like an efficient source of meat because they could eat waste vegetables?
Well, all i know is that it can be a gourmet meal, but also a source of protein for poor communities around the world. And yes, some snails eat agricultural waste.
I can understand your lack of motivation about eating snails ^^. Sometimes I wonder who was the first person to get the idea of eating something like oysters, snails, or the inside of a crab for example. That person really had to starve^^.
But your mom is right, snails are good.
Oh and yes, these chocolate snails are delicious.
In this time of year I occasionally enjoy white asperges with cooked ham, boiled egg and melted butter. Little parsley, salt and pepper for the spice. Glass of ice cold elsace pinot blanc with it and bingo.
Today I didn't feel like asperges though. I bought some radishes.
I eat them raw, with a bit of salt.
