Swiss tournaments are on Lichess

@Randomeister How can you assess in retrospect whether a tournament was aborted too early? In the Schack2 tournament you can only see 4/4. For me, that means that the tournament creator preset 4 rounds. And 4/4 means for me that 4 rounds out of 4 rounds have been played. From this, however, it is not possible to see that more rounds have been set up beforehand.

But I don't want to provoke another dispute. I'll leave it at that. Maybe I misunderstood you, too. In that case, I apologize!
@odoaker2015

I sincerely hope I'm not provoking anyone. I'm trying to help with feedback. I'm just trying to say that it's impossible to determine why the tournament schack2 linked to terminated when it did. One reason might be that he entered 4 rounds, but he claims he was surprised when it did terminate, so I assume he did enter a greater number. Another possibility is that one or several players paused their participation in the tournament _after_ the fourth round, in which case the draw for round 5 is not possible.

My other point was that Swiss should not allow the same player more than one bye in a tournament.
In addition, I have already pointed out to my previous posts that the number of rounds must be adjusted depending on the number of participants, because too many set rounds cannot result in legal pairings. And if the tournament creator has set more than 4 rounds, this may be the case here. I have already pointed this out on several occasions. And some did not want to accept that! And now this very case may have occurred (Schack2 tournament)! And that's all I'm going to say!
As a tournament operator, I cannot know the number of participants when I set up the tournament. But this is not a problem at all, because Lichess takes care of it. Let's say I plan a club event with 9 rounds that should take about two hours. I expect 15 to participate, but only 10 take part. Thus, less than nine rounds will be played, but it will be a regular Swiss tournament with a fair outcome (after all pairing bugs of this beta version have been eliminated).
@KnightSearch It is best to ask in advance in team forum who wants to participate in a Swiss tournament! Then you can also estimate how many rounds you can set! That's the way I do it!
#241: " One thing: after I made the swiss tournament (that starts tomorrow) I wanted to change it in an unrated tournament. But this seems not to be possible, because after I put the swtich to unrated and I save the new tournament settings, it still is a rated tournament. Is this a bug maybe?"

Now it is possible to change it to unrated. Thanks for the quick fix!
Gracias!
