Hi! When I am playing games with equally rated I normally get 5-6 points for a win. 7 points is for wins over players who are 100+ points higher rated as far as I understood. However I see that in some games that I lose to my opponents with a similar rating, they are getting + 10 or +20 points. So I am totally confused on the way the points are distributed. Please comment on this issue.
You forgot that you also hat +/- 10 point or 20 point changes (or way more) at some point in the past?
I might have) I understand that for the new players that have "?" in their rating, point distribution is different, but I also thought that it is not the same for the players with stabilized rating without the "?"
Even without ? your deviation can be everything between 45 and 110

Not to mention Volatility, which we can't see.
IIRC volatility is just an auxiliary value calculated from rating and rating deviation.
If I win in Rapid I get 5-7 points. But if I resign, my opponent gets 20-30. Also, If I win in Classical, I get 70
