Puzzles

To whom it may concern,

I wanted to get off my chest that the vast majority of your puzzles either have more than one solution to get the same outcome but it only counts as a win if I do it one specific way. Either that or the solution is dependent on the opponent making moves that contribute to the result, when they could have made other moves. Conclusion: THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY PREPOSTEROUS!!!

✅ A descriptive title: “Tournaments Feature Request: Variant = From position"

❌ “Help” , “Bug”, “bye bye” , “bullet” , “play”

The title should be : puzzles are having more than 1 solution.

;)
@tiamat6192 the puzzles are programmed to only have one solution. It is very rare for a puzzle to be wrong and that's usually a depth issue or it not recognizing all the mates. You need to have proof before making such accusatory statements.
I've found if a puzzle has more than 1 solution (ie. moving the queen to support the rook where vice versa would also work) then the puzzle will be marked correct either way.

Puzzle number #hbWzj ------- I could have captured the bishop after putting the opponent in check a second time. I figured getting both my rooks on the attack before capturing the bishop would be best. It wouldn't give me a win.

Puzzle number #os7U5 ------- move 20 I could have captured the white rook with either my rook or my pawn. I took it with my rook so as not to create an isolated pawn. It gave me a loss and said I needed to take it with my pawn.
