Losing time when network cuts off

Please fix it, like when there is no transmission between the server and the player, the time stops

How disconnection works:
You get x disconnect time based on time control that time is for the whole game
meaning if you had 2 min of dc at the start of the game and disconnect for 5 seconds you would have 115 seconds left for the reminder of the game small disconnects eat up this time which can cause you to quickly loose via disconnection. you can help it by refreshing every 30 seconds during your opponents turn.

also lichess is not going to pause for you because then people wont come back and It wont address the route cause of the problem YOUR connection. try lichess.org/account/network:
might help else change your dns or get better internet
So you want people in a bullet game wait 5 minutes for you?

This is not how things work. You want to play online? Be online!

There is also no other way to keep things fair. People would easily break their own network connection to gain more thinking time. And think about those rage quitters... they would even gain more momentum.

It's just the same as OTB. You can go to the toilet, but the clock keeps ticking.

Network sometimes cuts off unexpectedly......
WTF do you want me to do?
It is fair for no one in fact
And rage quitters won’t win because you can know when a person is still on the board or not
