Lichess Boards

smndvd - they are less playable, especially on some boards. But all boards I made are set up just to the new pieces. You've got two now and it's gonna be three (blue, marble, wood) more probably tomorrow. They fit exacly to the new pieces and I'm thinking of amending the bishop to make him look a little bit more diffrent than a pawn. But those pieces are of course optional and better for longer games and analysis espiecally. They are up to better look first not playability. That's why outlining doesn't make sense.
Well all pieces are supposed to go well with all boards - and the other way around, too. You can't design boards specifically for a set of piece at the detriment of other combinations.
I'll try the boards out with the other pieces as well, and if it fits, I'll include them.
Woops. Marble and blue boards are wrong: the a8 square is dark, where it should be light.
I could rotate the images by 90 degrees myself, but since I only have the optimized JPG files, it would result in a quality loss.

Can you rotate the files and update the optimized JPG files, pirouetti? By the way, it would be extra nice of you if you also publish lossless files in PNG format, so I can make such modifications myself when needed.
Is it not possible to install a slider that lowers or increases the colors or darkness of the board?
Why not give the players the choice of a color mixer and let the people pick what they want? Something like the submit button is on the first link: (Once submitted the board would change colors. http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colormixer.asp

I guess there would be lots of code to write, to offer flexability in colors.
And they do look great pirouetti, that's for sure.
