I still think there should be more time for the first move in chess960

Like at least a minute for rapid+.
You could also make the first move timer customizable. Or make it like chess.com where the time starts going down immideatly after the game starts and it simply auto aborts after a certain time if the player hasn't moved.

It would make sense to make it work like in swiss tournaments: after the 30s limit times out, player's clock is started and it's up to them how long they need for their first move.

Yess i like that. Although maybe there should still be an auto-abort of like 1-2 minutes in case of afk players
