Crazy(house) chauvinism why?

A miracle happened. One 27 min hourly ultra bullet tournament somehow made its way into the tournament schedule.

The success is overwhelming.

Look at this screenshot:

The ultra bullet tournament attracted 123 people while the normal bullet only 120 people during the same period.

Like it or not, official publicity makes a difference.

I really wonder where variants like Antichess and time controls like ultra bullet end up if they were given only the promotion that they rightly deserve based on their turnout.
Just to be clear, I think LiChess should show some favoritism using their judgment, but should make room for popular demand too. They should be able to fit both into the tournament schedule coming to a reasonable compromise. There is no excuse for something 80% as popular as Crazy to be 10% as represented in the tournament schedule.
It's simple really. They should decide a budget for how much of the tournament schedule is dictated by popularity (e.g. 80% is scheduled according to popularity) and the remainder is done to their taste and hopes for experimenting and promoting what they think is good for the community. The only debate necessary is what the exact quota should be.

Perhaps they should, every few months, pick a deserving variant and promote it like crazy. It sounds like you guys think Anti deserves a turn at that to say the least.
