Hello there,
my problem is that i can't join any game. I cant start a game the normal way. The "new game" button is simply not pushable. Moreover there are no game offers showed.
When i join a tournament a game starts, but i dont see the clocks and can't make a move. This all happens by using firefox browser since last week.
Using another browser, everything works fine.
Any idea, how to solve these problems with firefox browser? Updates for firefox are not available.

What version of firefox is this? Also, what operating system?
It's windows 10 - 64 bit , Version 42.0
I had the exact same problem a long time ago. I installed firefox again and then it worked again. But, that's been a LONG time ago, so I don't know if it's worth trying. Also it was a different firefox version.
Firefox version 42? The latest version is Firefox 52 and it works great for me. As #4 said, try it in a private window or in safe mode -

Me too i was using firefox a while ago i couldn't play chess with it it reinstalled it and it worked but it got really laggy so i just switched to google chrome.
Firefox 42 is from November 2015. It would be a very good idea to upgrade! Not only for lichess, but for security in performance in general while browsing the Internet.
I have the autoupdate function activated, well obviously it didnt update. I will try to update manually (not sure how to do that, yet) and see if it works after that.

@Wellblech01 you should be able to download the latest FF installer from their site.
Problem solved!
I just actualized my browser to newest version by downloading it from mozilla homepage.
The problem was, that my browser wrongly told me I already had the newest version. That confused me a lot. Thanks for your help, guys!
