It's not bad when someone has just made a few games, and absolutely no sign of being a cheater.
Do you know what I find bad?
Long time registered players who lose a game against a beginner and immediately assume that he is a cheater (and insult him)
#11 To be clear: often new-comers with a few games and rating 2100-2300 who beat strong opponents do appear to be cheaters in the end :) Not always though. Insulting is not acceptable, but reporting is ok (if you do feel smth suspicious, based on analysis graphs).
#9 Reporting everyone is not the way to go. When I report someone I do have some base for it. And I do think it makes Lichess better so do not understand why a lot of people want to close this topic.
We should close it because there is big warning when making a topic to not post accusations and OP made an accusation!!! They broke the rules!!!

So next time the better expresions would be: "Yesterday I played youknowwhom", or "I lost to the NAMELESS" or "_those whom we can not name_ are so annoying in online chess".

I agree that cheating is bad but how can you recognise that someone is even cheating if the computer analysis tells a different story? and again can't this whole thing about cheaters may lead to sandbagging!?
@idh82bu he didn't accuse him of cheating... lichess did, see " This player uses chess computer assistance " It's not an accusation. lichess made this determination, not him.
whats the point of cheating in chess on a chess site like this there is no money in the win for it you must just be a bad person who like to mess with other persons time and so , i got reported but i dont cheat so things like that happens to so make sure you are 100 on a guy before people report them .
