Chess.com vs lichess

Agreed, Lichess has a principle about openness and transparency which I really like. But it does annoy me that chess.com pays all the top streamers to play on their site exclusively. At least we still have ChessExplained and Penguin, as long as they don't get bought up too.
Why do you clowns persist in claiming that players have signed exclusive contracts to play chess games on 1 site only ???
This is false. They "stream" their lessons on a single site, but they continue to play chess games elsewhere. They all continue to play games here, at lichess. The site can not be beat for speed and reliability.
They give their lessons at a single site. Understandable. They have mouths to feed. But they are not restricted where they choose to play their chess games, only where they provide lessons to paying customers.
Do you see blatant advertising here ? No. Lichess is a community service. Those that give lessons can be accessed under the drop down menu *Learn*. Chess.com is a business. They pay "coaches" to provide lessons on their site. This phenomenon won't last long. Everybody and their brother is doing it. All the material offered is easily accessible online. Players will wake up to the scam taking place.
just now it is started titled tuesday on chesscom....after 5 minutes its servers are out and the tournament is finished. every time the same problem.
So embarassing.

few days ago it happened when Carlsen was playing and streaming. :-O
really a bad image to see.

lichess site is 10 time better.
faster, better, minimal and perfect.

#41... when i want to see BIG streamers, i use twitch and i see them.....when i want to play, i play here.
easy :)
#42... chill out cupcake. No one said "exclusive contracts". But there are contracts and truth is we see less of some of the more prominent streamers now b/c of the contracts.

Anyway, you missed the point entirely so I'll leave it at that.
Chess.com ... yes, their servers are a joke. Always going down. A hundred excuses, even the commentators in the streams are always laughing about it. It's been 3 years since v3 was introduced, and still can't get it right. Titled Tuesday cancelled ? That surely will go over like a lead balloon.
Titled tuesday cancelled.
Streamers are spending the time to challenge other streamers...
And is not the first time.
Very embarassing.
@mdinnerspace Clearly doesn't understand that chess.com contracts give the titled chess players restrictions as to what sites they can play on that includes streaming and uploading videos. Take Eric Hansen and John Bartholomew as examples of great players with good content both on Twitch and YouTube that used to show content from Lichess but now exclusively show content using chess.com.

It's a free world and they can do as they want, but it gets really boring and sad if we will no longer see any lichess tournaments or other lichess content from them anymore.
@mdinnerspace "Why do you clowns persist in claiming......"

There are ways to communicate with other users without being rude, obnoxious and insulting. I've started reporting your posts as I don't see why we should all have to put up with it.
Restrictions on what sites they can play on ???
Absolute nonsense.
Claims were made by Timid of the Chess Brahs closing their account here, to only play exclusively at another site. Timid claims to have spoken personally with Eric Hansen, which we all know is BS. This claim has been proven false, as the account is open with the Chess Brah's playing 150+ games with Magnus yesterday here on lichess.
