Hmm...January 8 sounds good, then? Do note that the first month will just be preliminaries...The top clashes will start in late Jan to mid Feb if we start Jan 8.

I'm looking forward to participating in both events hosted on lichess.org and chess.com. It's great that crazyhouse is growing in activity with such events heading into 2017!

Starting in the second week of January sounds great, though the 8th is a Sunday in most countries which means I might already be at work on a Monday.

I should mention that you will have the whole week to negotiate the playing time with your opponent. Besides, the first round should be very easy work for the top guns.
