"Loading engine..." problem gone today

I am still having this issue with Chrome. Exactly the same as described by Steve_K, and I never had this issue until 1-2 weeks ago. I cannot get lines from the engine without refreshing the page, and then it happens again after a few moves.

I have two ideas for the cause. Let's try to exclude them systematically. Updated to exclude the first. Is this issue still happening now?

I've just played a game and then analyzed it, using Opera.

BLUF: it worked perfectly.

Throughout the game analysis I tried moves other than what were played in the actual game, sometimes 20 or more moves. Never once saw the engine freeze.

Tomorrow I'll try to analyze a game using Chrome, but so far both Firefox and Opera are working and I'd be surprised if Chrome isn't.

Admins: care to tell us what the fix was?

So far it was just a rollback to an earlier version, to find the exact point where the issue was introduced. I'll try to find the underlying issue, but first I'll wait a bit more to confirm that it's really better, now.

@iassenev Can you please check if this issue is fixed or not? Feedback would help a lot, because I can't reproduce the issue myself.

It appears to be fixed.

I've just analyzed an entire game using Chrome, which before was freezing. Now it did not. Played perfectly.

In the past two or three days I've also tried analysis with Firefox and Opera. They also worked.

Now giving this to the Lichess admins, as the problem appears to be fixed.

I've just played, then analyzed a game. (Using Opera.) Analysis worked perfectly. Never saw "Loading engine..." Never saw arrows disappear.
