[Suggestion]Puerto Rico Flag not available in country profile section.

As a citizen of Puerto Rico I find myself sad, knowing that I cannot add my flag to the country profile section. Adding it would make me eternally grateful.

Thanks!
Hmmm Puerto Rico is a tricky one! You aren't actually an independent country - part of the United States - but you have your own chess federation.

I would vote YES for you to have your own flag, personally, by virtue of the Chess Federation's independence from that of America (which should still belong to the UK anyway!) so...

Why not give every province, state, etc. unique flags? Many states have their own chess associations.
Having just read up about this, I take back my comment on #2 and agree with Toadofsky. In fact, it seems that every State and some NON-States in the USA have their own Federations.

So Puerto Rico should NOT have its own flag, unless and until it becomes independent from the USA.
It might be the most simple solution to allow flags for all member federations of FIDE - and no one else. You can easily look it up on their website and Lichess doesn't have to decide on a case by case basis what's okay and what isn't.

Holy crap - so after changing my mind, I'm changing it back again!!! Callidous shows quite correctly that Puerto Rico DOES have its own federation.

This is an excellent suggestion - just use the directory.

I've never changed my mind so many times in such a short space of time. Callidous, I vote for YOU :D
