Sometimes I get the "friends online" pull-down, (or should I say pull-up) at the bottom-right corner of the screen. But, sometimes I don't.
Does anyone know what causes this?

Maybe because sometimes you don't have any friend online.
When they are at the side, that means they are online.
If they arent, that means that they arent online doing stuff.
The thing is I can't even see the "friends online" button - there's just nothing there!

Yes, when you don't have any friend online, there's nothing, I think.
#4 If you are on phone then the " online friends" button doesnt appear.

It depends on the size of your window. If your window is too small, the "friends online" box will be hidden to reduce clutter.
