Lichess API lack of support for creating future tournaments

I read Lichess API documentation and not found option to create future tournaments at specific date - it is possible on lichess and used often but not possible with use API.

I will help organize regular club tournaments without manual clicking.

Yes, please! For the same reason.

A few more wishes;
- add the other advanced settings to the API as well, like rate limits and initial position. Adds a new dimension to club play
- be kind not to restrict these features to oath2-only (tokens are fine)

@Cezary_Wagner: A workaround is to set the "waitMinutes" parameter (0-360 minutes) in api post. Then you can post a tournament link to your forum of desire up to 6 hours in advance. Combined with a local cronjob for your script, you can plan club tournaments at fixed days/hours.

A nice Lichess feature would be to allow setting up a "recurring team tournament" from the team page, with one link for the recurring tournament , and separate links for the tournament instances. Perhaps make the tournament private by default so it does not swamp the public tournament calendar.

@tennersgnissel Workaround always is not good solution. If we can set time in future for i.e. for next 120 days that will be O.K.

As you said better will be recurring tournaments for clubs without time limitation like in public tournaments without passwords. It will be much simpler.

Setting recurring tournaments has some limitation and impact on lichess servers so still better is tournament generation.

People can forget to delete recurring tournament and it will be keep forever.

position is already available, but startDate will require a lichess deploy - within a day or two I'd say.
