I'm just not a good fit for you. I've tried three times now over the last 5 years to find a way to integrate into and contribute to this community, and this is my last attempt. I'm off to chess24 or something run as a business because at least I know what to expect from their product. I hope you continue to do what you do, it fills something truly needed but I just can't deal with such an open community. I just want to play chess and talk about chess and such and this place always becomes too poisonous within a year or so every time without fail.

There are a few retards in here but the site is marvellous, Simply the best,,,,,you are sooooo wrong about Lichess.Hope ypu change your mind.
No, I won't be explaining my statements further. I've detailed all my concerns and reasons to one of the staff whom I feel is a pretty darn awesome guy. On many levels, as a platform yes, lichess has improved greatly. On other levels, particularly the community, it's remained the 4chan of chess. I'll be closing my account now. I simply posted this so that my friends would possibly have an explanation as to why. Thanks for the good times and the bad. Happy chessing.
