I notice there are ALOT of no-shows, especially for slower time control events.
Having to join a team was supposedly to make the swiss arenas more serious but it doesn't seem to be doing the trick.
Maybe if you're a no-show to a swiss tournament you are auto-banned from future Swiss tournaments for the next week.
Maybe there should be an attendance just before the start of the tournament where all players click the pair me button.

There could be many different reasons why a registered participant no longer participates in a Swiss tournament. Maybe he got sick or he has other short-term commitments. It would be unfair to exclude and auto-ban him categorically in future tournaments. I strongly oppose it.
If he's not present at the start just remove him. No need to ban him or anything
Once someone has joined a swiss tourney or an arena you cannot remove him/her from the tournament.
