I blocked a particular player and I am still being paired up with them?

You block them from sending messages to you. Imagine TA if players picked their non-opponents.

Blocking will prevent them from sending you direct messages or challenges, it will not prevent you from being paired with them in a tournament.

thanks bufferunderrun, i blocked them as they kept instantly resigning when they got paired with me and would be lurking / spying on my games at 2am, it really sucks that i still get paired with them as they put me off and make me anxious.

Zen mode can be helpful for this, then you would not know you were paired with them, and would not see the spectators
