For last few days I noticed that lichess is loading for too long time in my browser and therefore my opponents quit the game before I even see the board and the pieces. I thought my provider is slowing down lichess purposely - kind of blocking the site (yes it is might sound strange), but when I started using vpn to access lichess , I observed the same result. My internet banwidth is about 15 Mbit/s. I think taht should be enought for lichess.Please advice. Thank you.
Can you provide additional information, such as: What device are you using? What browser are you using? Which browser version? Does this happen all the time or just sometimes?
@Sunshiner it could be lichess' fault but it might be that your computer is slow, u should check if the computer is good, if it is, then describe the situation better
I'm using desktop PC mostly, core i3 4160, 8GB DDR3, Windows10 1803 x64, Geforce gtx 650 1GB. My browser is Firefox Quantum 67.0 x64. It happens all the times for last 4 days. I can't play any game. Even as anonymous.
One more thing to note - the site itself is loading very fast, but the list of games in the center comes after 20-30 sec. Then it might take up to 1-2 minute before I see the board and pieces. Maybe there is some heavy javascript lib in the updated lichess.
