Which new features are planned ?

Is there anyway to get to know, which new features are planned ?

In this forum we have had several feature requests ( I can quote them if needed) , but until now I have not seen any reaction of the Lichess team.

I don't think you can look for planned updates. You can, however, look at the Lichess changelog. lichess.org/changelog

You can check on github in issues section of all respositories of lichess,like (github.com/lichess-org/api/issues)

What is this "Lichess feedback" used for, if there are NO ANSWERS from the LICHESS TEAM about user wishes ?

To keep us talking OR to get serious feedback that helps improving things ?

They don't have to answer in order to listen to what you're saying. It's "Lichess Feedback", not "Lichess Feedback and Responses".

You’ll have to monitor GitHub if you wanna know what made it on the to-do-list. Coordinating the devs is a higher priority than making promises to the users to keep things efficient. I’m sure you understand.

Lichess giving information to us users would be feedforward.

I am a software developer myself (since decades), so I understand that things are always slower than expected. But this NO REACTION policy is not appropriate - even to me.

There should be someone who communicates here - as a spokesperson of the lichess team.

Do you think that polls will be added one day to Lichess?

A list of the planed features beforehand? I am not sure about this idea, and somehow i agree with lichess not providing one. Why? Let us say there a feature which everybody would love and it „would change the life for better of the users“. At the last moment a developer found a bug in this feature which could crash everything, and the feature does not make the release.

The feature list created a lot of expectations and what would you say as user? I would not be happy. And probably everybody would start make more pressure about this feature.

In the other side, if you do not know? If comes you are happy, if dont, „nothing“ changed.

So a list especially for a site? No thx. Let lichess surprise us with great features.
