Bughouse chess 2 players team play

I'm just too excited & also a passionate user asking a question ... if it's will come the day, lichess will dominate bughouse chess or it's will never happen for a reason I don't know ?? could be because the overall cost of human ressources, the time or money or other reasons ?

thank you @RMario !! A lot of otb & live chess tournament player had great memories from bughouse chess after a tournaments between friends it's just fun to play ...

From a previous forum post it was mentioned how 4 player mechanism requires major restructuring to the code whereas Lichess is designed for 2 players scheme, so chances of Bughouse or any new variant getting added are slim maybe.

Best way would be a Lichess fork for Bughouse, a separate site. Someone has to do it. Like lidraughts, lishogi.

I like to do bughouse sometimes so it would be cool but indeed lichess got problems with the code they said :)

but if i remember it well i think he (Nerevan ) lost interest because lichess didn't wanna add it at that point (ofcourse due the code stuff i think).
I like that Lichess got many variants but i think bughouse seems to be very tough now.

The true is I think as a user only here the level of the programmers are extremely high
Expectations of others could be nerve wracking to some people ...
