New header update covers thing up...

Thanks buffer, but it's already fixed (as of this minute)

In Firefox it covers the top clock on old game review, unless I do the scroll jigger dance to outfox it. There are hundreds of discussions on the web about how bad such sticky menu style can be. I don't want to start a flame war, but I feel genuinely upset. I loved Lichess for its a minimalist design, not an irritating heap of disgusting features to try to ignore. Maybe this will force me to change my chess website habits.

Personally, I LOVE THIS NEW HEADER. I Don't know WHAT you guys are talking about because this is a very good addition to lichess.
I'm using Firefox 123.0.1 (64-bit) in Windows 10 Home, 10.0.19045 Build 19045, on a 1366x768 wide screen Dell laptop, which is what I usually play chess with, at least when at home. Smartphone users aren't going to be bothered as much if at all, because phone screens are typically extra tall, therefore allowing little overlap conflict. On a wide screen the overlap problem is far more severe. This doesn't seem so much like a difference of opinion, as of difference of graphical environment.

I also credit @thibault for paying attention to this forum topic.
@Flatlander Thanks, it seems it's fixed now. At least when I resize to those dimensions the top header goes transparent over the relevant section. Of course, please say if it is still not working for your set-up.

And yep, totally agree that our individual set-ups will affect whether we see a change as negative or positive. I know for a fact that it was tested on small laptop screens before deploying, but Lichess is a pretty big site so it's not possible to catch everything up front unfortunately!
Oh wow, it does this clear thing now. That's cool. It can still cover most of the top rank of the board (rank 1 or 8 depending of flip). But it's not the end of the world.
While aiming for a screenshot I noticed that I can't get the header to cover the board without scrolling down then up again. So I don't know how to make a legitimate screen shot about this to expose any bug. The original irritation was cover of clock and material. But that's been fixed. Thanks.
I hate the new header please please make a setting that allows those who do not like it to turn it off.
It's not bad on phone, it seems pretty good, i like it. Thanks Lichess
There is also one happening on studies - the new grey material balance tab encroaches on the icons along the bottom when those icons have a notification attached to them.
