Hey, rickrenegade, if you feel that feedback is seriously lacking and want to be constructive about it then gather some examples with links and throw some suggestions (well, maybe in separate thread).
I agree with you @rickrenegade but the suggestions that you want implemented into the site have background factors into why those feature haven't been added. There's a lot to account for.

As for this specific suggestion, I agree it sounds useful however it seems like it will slow down the page load time and introduce lots of code which no developer has interest in maintaining over the lifetime of Lichess.

Maybe "million" was an exaggeration. Hundreds then. Popular feature requests get a new forum thread every single day. We can't respond to every single one.
