Why should I resign in this position?

I had about 90 seconds on my clock with the following position:

I lost on time because my phone lost internet access. So far it is fair. But then I got this very annoying warning from the server about running my clock out of time instead of resigning could get me temporarily banned.

Could you do better please and not display this message to players who are obviously winning when losing on time and who have no history of intentionally losing on time (even though my time management skills are indeed awful)?

Thank you
If you have no history of such behaviour, and have no intention do so in future, then there is nothing you have to fear. Lichess can't decide whether you rage-quit or some mishap occured to your connection.
Do you really think every time someone's time has run out they should pay for calculation time to let the engine run - to decide if the quitter had some decent chances to win or draw? Just to save them from a message with no consequences?
You're a patron - wouldn't you like to have your support spent wiser?
