"This person abandons games when losing"

I think this would be a great label to compliment the cheating one and the artificially inflating rating ones. The amount of people who choose to abandon a game in long time controls when lost instead of resigning is so sad. Thankfully you don't have to wait too long before you can claim the victory but it is incredibly bad manners.
I believe Lichess has been doing a good job in trying to curb this behavior but there is always room for improvements. I kind of like your idea. If it were to be implemented I think the label should be visible to the offending player in order to get him to change his behavior, unlike the 'the players uses computer assistance' label.
I was just venting when I made this thread after playing a 30 minute game and didn't expect it to be taken serious. Looking at @seanysean post it actually does seem like a good idea haha.
These people are a nightmare and its an amazing idea but i wouldnt advise implementing it...
Yeah would cause more hassle than it's worth to implement. Chess.com has a thing where it says "so and so may have violated our fair play policies" and their account might be restricted when they abandon games. Not sure if that is in place here.
Great idea, but hard to implement. Because I imagine it's only a problem at certain rating ranges, and hard to determine reason for abandonment.

Say a guy only abandons occasionally 5% of his games.

Hypothetically look at 100 random players and assume 5% are assholes/jerks that abandon games.

Now play out 100 games for everybody. That's 10,000 games. How many games get abandoned simply for jerk reasons? Only 25 right? Doesn't seem like much, but sometimes due to luck/chance in a single gaming session you might've been abandoned 3 outta 10 of your games.

Excuse me for being super simplistic and making assumptions that aren't even close to reality.
