Glitch forced Castling

Hi all,

While playing the game linked below I considered moving queen's rook on move 16 and "touched" it but then changed my mind to castle kingside but when I touched the king lichess forced a queenside castle putting me into an easy mating net. Losing a blitz game because I slip or blunder or am outplayed I can live with easily enough but this?

The way you explain it should't happen, I assume there is a fault in the communication here or you didn't notice exactly how it works yet.

If the king has been touch, it is selected and if you touch a rook that the king can castle with in this state then it does so. You can deselect the king by touching it again, or any other place on the board that doesn't produce a move.

There is 4 visual cues this is about to happen, only 1 of them can be turned off. http://i.imgur.com/FvgEOUC.png (cursor hovering rook on a1)

1. The king square is highlighted
2. If Piece destinations is turned on, you can see the kings dots around it
3. The rooks that can castle have all their 4 corners highlighted to warn you they will act in a castling if touched
4. When you hover a rook that will castle, it will be highlighted.

This highlighting doesn't happen when you hover your other pieces. But it is the same effect as when you are about to capture an enemy piece.
Thanks for pointing out the cues flugsio though in blitz I'm sometimes moving pretty fast to pick up on cues. Looking back and using your language I think I went back and forth between selecting the king and rook to move and in the process I castled. I generally castle onlne by moving the king over 2 squares. When I select a piece like a knight and then change my mind I don't have to deselect it in order to move a bishop. I just select the bishop and move. The effect was I castled when it was not my intention. I'll be more aware now.
