I’m 51 years old, always been 1600, how do I become a GM , serious answers only please.

I’m messing with you of course, just getting a bit tired of these threads. How do I become etc xxx
Firstly: You would need to be reborn.

Secondly: You would need much better chess parents than your current deficient excuses for chess parents.

Thirdly: If any of this is not possible, please confront and blame your parents either in person or during a grave visit.

I find that it always helps to blame others.
Cheers and good luck on your epic odyssey!
You first must go to work for some company, and then eventually you may well become its GM (and yes, it is quite possible!).
Change your name to "Grand Master Simon Birch".
Then everyone can call you GM.
There are browser extensions to display yourself (or all players) GM
Considering your advanced years, I would fully recommend a healthy course of Variants, to be taken with water three times a day, preferably before meal times :)

Oh you mean born again Christian, no thanks I prefer my reality and Gods love .I ain’t joining the likes of Magnus and co. Not for the whole world and everything I want. That’s what the devil said to Jesus in the desert..... jump and I’ll give you the world , think I prefer being a lowly 1600 and beating the occasional 2000............small victories
I’m quite mad you know
Ha ha ha ha
Peace up everyone
Love to all

Thanks for the advice Paris... I’ll try take that on board..... must play better. Thanks xxx
Pay a lot of money to a serious coach who will give you a very serious training plan and have about 10 + hours a day every day to train hard. It will not be easy and you will probably fail but imo it's worth going for it if it's what you want to do. Some of us shoot for the stars but land on the moon and that is ok :)
