Frequent Bug ( analysis )

Hey guys ,

This bug is a lot frequent so there is a chance it can happen to you
I named it ''Frequent Bug ( Analysis ) '' Since it usually appears on games

Bug :
I was just analyzing a game And it happened frequently for me ( it happened for me several times )

Problem is :
If you analyze a game when it is suppose say white is winning if he does a blunder he loses but when you analyze the game
You can see that There is a bug

Example:
See this game

Here just go to move no. 72
It says that white made a blunder and it's a draw but there is a way to win

Solution :
If black plays Kh7 Then White plays Kf7 The black should play Kh8 And then Kg6 Would Win after black Plays Kg8 It is winning after Kh6

It happens frequently and this game is just an example
It is the problem of engine, You will mostly see it in endgames because that is where engine is bad and weak, after 72. Kf6,
if you play Kh7 Kf7 Kh8 Kg6 it will say draw all the time but when after that you play Kh6 it will say white is winning, even engine is bad in endgame! @F-35_Lightning
Its a bug, but it does give the tablebase wins correctly, just not the evaluation line
It's not a bug. You've reached a point in the game when you cannot win without a 3-fold repetition of position.
Yes, it would've been a draw because of the 3-fold repetition. Black should have played Kh7 after Kf6.
It does say that 71. Kg6 is a lost forced checkmate and a checkmate in 14.

@andlind 74... Kg8 in your line is a 3-fold repetition. The study just doesn't display it and I guess the players could choose not to claim it but it's objectively drawn. That's why SF always evals it as a draw but suddenly goes back to winning for white after the repetition is over.
@A9yoldtochampion I don't think so
It's not a draw since the same position will return after 3 moves and it's not a problem for white to win
I use the table base a lot often in games so it may happen even 2 times only in 1 Game
IDK if it's a bug or maybe I was wrong but never mind if I am wrong
Also one time there was a checkmate
Now don't think I am joking I saw one of my puzzles ( Mate In 1 ) And i found out that there was another mate that was checkmate in 3
But there was a interesting fact about that puzzle since after 2 moves it was the same position as the original mate position
