Lichess Classic Swiss Non-Games

Playing swiss classical time control it is very frecuent that rounds last a lot more than it should because of players who abandon and dont log out of the tournament. I think it would be a very good improvement if you had a time maximum to make your first move. Lets say 10 minutes? That way rounds overall would be a lot shorter and the playing experience much better in my opinion
The thing is that swiss works like that. It is the same as otb swiss tournaments where the arbiter says white can move, black press the clock and if white player is not there the clock keeps going down but they always have the chance to arrive late and make a move.
It's not ideal, it's annoying and all but at least online you can just open a new tab and play another game or do something else.
Yes, I understand that, but I believe everyone who plays these tournaments would much rather prefer it was another way. We just have a game where white took 28 minutes to make its first move, then black never moved :/ . That kind of scenarios shows that the system is bad
