Warn players spanming additions of time increment

I just had a match where the other player was clearly winning and I was about to resign when the player spammed the time increment. I let my time run out in response, but I was the only one to get warned. It should have been a mutual warning; my warning for letting my time run out and the opponent for clearly being unprofessional.

An edited side note, does Lichess allow the message originator to edit message subject lines? Because I couldn't figure out how to fix the typo of 'spanming' in the subject.

why? there's no rule against giving an opponent additional time. it does not affect you negatively in any way.
I said spamming the time increment, as in being unprofessional. Intentionally trying to mock your opponent. Giving excessive time when it does absolutely nothing for you, just to make fun of your situation.

there is nothing unprofessional there. i think the easier solution here would be for you to get over "your situation" and resign once adding more time to your clock feels like being mocked.

@glbert, I find it annoying and it's actually spamming. LiChess should have an option turning off or on the option of getting extra time from your opponent.
Honestly.. I couldn't be bothered by my opponent giving me extra time. Except for maybe in swiss tournaments where other players would (potentially) have to wait for that extra clock time.
@glbert in the ToS under "Sledging", time addition is explicitely listed as a possibility to mock or throw off your opponent.

@jhansyman disable it for rated games.
but time spamming doesn't violate the rules, and flagging is!
Funny how you are judging me and whatever "my situation" is. I merely want and expect folks to behave as if its over the board. And, his behavior would have been unprofessional at an over the board. Again, I was asking that both of us receive warnings.
