Personally, I like berserking. It’s a challenge to berserk (though it can be frustrating sometimes) and provides extra entertainment. Especially in ultra, there may be “odd”games, but this is just how ultra works. Berserking is a great feature here on lichess and I don’t think they plan on getting rid of it.
However, I see how it could become annoying, especially when someone berserk a little, drops a lot of rating, then stops berserking and takes away the rating. At the end of the day, berserking shouldn’t be considered sandbagging.

Be glad people zerk! I give away almost 200+ every time I do, but as kid said, even the odds if you dare! ;)
