Can we please fix the issue that if you join a tournament but while you wait for the tourney to start you start playing a game and suddenly in the middle of the game the tournament start it pair you and the game start. If you dont make a move you lose. The tournament should not pair you if you are playing.
Why should this be a bug? You can play more than one game simultaniously.

2. If you are playing 1 minute games you definitely cannot play more than one game. Are we going to go down this rabbit hole? because if we are then prove it. Can you play me 1-minute game and also another 1 minute game? I want to see that.

If you don't want this to happen, don't join (or withdraw from) the tournament, and then join once you finish your game.
@ben3536 technically that doesn't fix the issue. You rely on the user instead of the software. Evidently it is a bug. Let the lichess maintainers fix it.

What are the steps to reproduce this bug? Do you have the tournament open in another tab?
When I join an arena in advance and then it starts while I'm playing a game, I see a blue bar at the bottom that says the arena is in progress and I can pause or resume it, but I don't get paired until I click there and go to the arena page (or until I manually navigate to the arena).
So I never experienced this problem...

It's not a bug if it's based on stupidity of an aware user.
By that silly logic, every mouseslip is a bug.
Just pay attention to what tournaments you're joining, easy as that.
I avoid premature joinings anyway.

Actually, I have done a bullet game and a blitz game before at the same time, so it's possible.

this happens if you have two tabs open, one with your ongoing game and another one with the tournament. then it pairs you in the tournament even if you have another game going. whether this is a bug or a feature i don't know, but i for sure find it annoying when it happens
