Houston, we have an OTP problem

Hi folks. Once upon a time I had a Xiaomi phone and an app (2OTP) which worked like a charm - filled password, then 2OTP and I received immediately the OTP (just numbers). Now, after I changed my phone, everything has changed, and frankly I am totally lost in a dark forest were 2+2=5....:) When I open 2OTP or ANY other two factors auth. app, I don't receive any number, but a lot of messages....tasking me to take a shot of a QR code (what code??) and a lot of exoteric stuff. I am here, because I use also prettier lichess on Chrome, (my access is immediate, without password request), but I do want to go back to lichess.org on Safari.
Any advice?
Thanks!

MacBook Air, Catalina last version - Samsung Ph, Android.
So just to clarify, because it is not very clear from your post:
- Did you have the multiple devices option enabled when you used the 2fa on your previous phone?
- If no, did you install any 2fa app on your new phone or on your Mac?
- If yes, did you connect lichess to the app?
- If no, did you go to lichess.org/account/twofactor and followed instructions?
Thanks for your reply
- I think I had the multiple devices enabled when I used my previous ph, cause I never had troubles when authenticating.
- When I bought my new ph, I transferred every app from Xiaomi to Samsung, and of course I transferred 2OTP too.
- I think I have not connected 2OTP to lichess. Maybe this is the problem.
- If I go to the link you sent me, I need an authentication code...which actually I can't get :(

Btw, could you please suggest me a good and simple authentication app for Android?
Thks again!

Thanks. Now I've Authy on my Samsung. When I open it
1. I see Twitch token
2. I go to Add Account
3. I see: Scan the QR Code on the website where you are enabling 2FA / No QR Code? Enter code manually.

This is the point: where can I see my lichess code?
THKS!

yes if you get your otp then you can change password if you forgot it
