I am able to access my account through mobile however not on my desktop.
An error pops up saying, “Too many requests, try again later”
It’s been roughly an hour or two and still the same issue. It shouldn’t be because of the amount of people logged in because I am able to login from my account with mobile and I’ve tried restarting my PC. This seems to be a system issue on lichess.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Same here. Same Error using Chrome. I can login using Firefox instead of Chrome, so if the other ppl who cant login use chrome too there might have been sth happening that screwd things up, no clue on what side tho.
We have seen several reports with this issue linked to Chrome, recently.
Until we find out why Chrome is triggering this error message on Lichess, I would suggest using a different browser.
By now it worked again to login with chrome. Dont know what the issue was, no extensions/addons used, no update since last time it worked. Today was the first time i experienced this playin with chromes for lotsa time.
Wanted to add what i tried before, maybe its helpin u guys. Getting a new ip, clearing browser cache, clearing all cookies/formular datas/pws n such and using incognito mode didnt worked. It basically solved itself by time. Maybe ur system doesnt clear the requests when using chromes and thinks they happened all at once at a certain point, giving a timeout to prevent ddos n such. Or some loop is going on, dont know. Thx for looking into it guys u r doing amazing.

Thanks to this message, I'm forced to log in through Edge. Microsoft, F***ing Edge. You guys just forced me to use a piece of stinking garbage (no offense to garbage) just to log on.

@blind_man_walking. But may I recommend Firefox instead of Edge? :P
Couldn´´`t log in with chrome, mozilla, edge or opera. Always "Too many requests, try again later". Only that "log in with email" worked since happened to remember and have email i originally signed up here with.
