Daily analysis limit

Each user will be informed how many server-side analysis runs are allowed everyday to schedule daily limited server-side analysis runs. It would be correct and possible. I write like an IT specialist.

This doesn't bother many people. It may be more trouble to implement than it's worth. I write like a software engineer.
The server-side chess analysis is a fast and easy tool for chess learning.
Chess games can be analyzed without using server-side analyzes, but this additionally requires a lot of time and human effort.

displaying a counter would change nothing about that. and it would incentivise people to fully use all their available analyses, thus wasting resources. i write like a random person who has an opinion.

The counter of daily limited runs of server side analysis is already implemented on lichess.org for each user, but it is not shown in profiles. You should know this if you are a good software engineer.
Thus, displaying the counter in user profiles can be easily and quickly implemented for programmer working on lichess.org, for example, in the same place where the "request computer analysis" button is now located. There would be a desire. This will not be a problem for a professional programmer making changes to lichess.org.

Displaying a counter would change nothing about that to those who are on lichess.org just for have fun and wasting time. It would useful for those who are on the site for the intensive learning chess. It first of all depends on priorities.
It definitely makes sense to have a limitation on the number of games analysed, especially because there could be an abuse in the use of lichess resources by bots.

As a user, I've never reached the limit of daily analyses, but I understand that for certain players, it may be relevant to see a counter. Curious about the moderators' opinion on the subject

One of the lessons I've learned from being a software engineer is that everyone always thinks the other guy's job should be quick and easy.

When I was a kid, I told my dad I thought pop-up headlights on cars were pretty cool. He sighed, shook is head and said "just one more thing to break." Software maintenance is always the real cost.
