Not enough chess960 tournaments!!!

Familiar pawn formations, no correct set up. Really? These are really BAD arguments..
Anti. atomic, crazy, etc are games made with chess pieces and board , they can be very amusing, but they are not chess.

960 is chess, and with positions impossible to get in starting 518 configuration (standard if I'm not wrong). It only spoils openings knowledge, but strategy principles , tactics, endgames, are the same, with the enrichment of unthinkible positions in standard.

But therein lies a problem on lichess. I can't see it from the tournaments tab. I used to see the user-made arenas below the regular ones but now I cannot. There may be a load of others I might wish to join for all I know if only I could see them. (I'm sure this was discussed once).

Perhaps allow members to filter what they see, but allowing us to create tournaments then making them invisible so nobody can see them (unless you give them the link) doesn't really seem a great idea.

By the way, I don't think we'll be spammed with thousands of them. People will create tournaments when there isn't one appropriate to join already. And filters will let people reduce what they see. Only seeing those you are qualified to join would be a start. (You can turn that filter off if you wish to watch arenas).
People who don't like 960 want to have a advantage for wining with their work of the opening theory. 960 is fair, spectacular and pure chess.
Yes, indeed - one cannot see user-created tournaments at all. At least I don't know how to do it.
How e.g. this one could be found other than from this forum? Although I wouldn't have joined because the improprtu 8 hours of playing is way too long.
I realise Lichess is very popular and the overall number of the tournaments held here might be getting out of control, yet it's definitely very inconvenient when you can't filter out events and find a suitable one according to at least the game played and the date/time.
Interestingly, the chess960 hater has closed his/her account. Going to reappear here with a new nickname?

UPD: Ah it's already reopened. Personal problems and chess960 is to blame? ;)
Peace guys!
What a pointless discussion, full of hate and personal attacks.....
Did I really read 5 pages of this thread?! :0
Have opened the topic only because I agree: there should be more chess960 tournaments; the current one and only daily arena is not enough. (and pretty late for europeans!)
-----------------
May I suggest the following - best by test:
Please make 3 daily arenas to different times * for say one month.
Then we can see, whether those tourneys are frequently played or not.
If yes, remain and improve. If not delete and remove. :-)

*Edit: and different time controls
@Funkmaus What you write makes sense, of course. I'd also think about a quick-pairing system.
Please note, however: this thread was initially rather peaceful - people asking the administrators of the excellent chess website to organise more regular chess960 events - if not for ONE person launching multiple attacks on the game and its enthusiasts.
I am really sorry. I was out of line. I am too stupid for chess. My sincere appologiez.
@Former_Player Thanks for supporting my post!
Indeed, I noted that - and see #59 - the dispute is clarified. Great! :-)
What is wrong with quick-pairing system? Can you please explain?!
You mean the quick-pairing option in the lobby? There I have never experienced a wait when was looking for a game, but probably I have not played enough to judge.
