Except for that it doesn't because of a line where black can give perpetual check. Why don't you check your answer with the engine before saying that a puzzle is bad?

While it does work, Rxd5 is easier to see to the end as Rd8 is pretty much unstoppable and it is the stronger move.
It is weird that cxd5 is a cook though.
Edit: Flupkees is correct, there is a perpetual after cxd5 starting with Rxf2+.
