OK, banning all of them on lichess.org for Putin actions would be too far. But let's assume I just wouldn't like to play with them, until they overthrow their bandit government, can I set this somewhere in the setting? Can lichess.org add that option, please?

Seems like banning and expunging people or words is very popular these days. I propose you just play your fellow russian chess players like every other player. I propose you talk to them and embrace them for what they are. Your kin. Their leader may be the devil but believe me, there are many devils out there. I propose you spread union, not division like everyone seems to be so fond of these days. It saddens me deeply. This might just be a post noone looks at, but I implore everyone who reads this to spread peace and love and unity and compassion. Not weapons, oppresion, exclusion, bans, sanctions. There is one world, not "theirs" and "yours".

This is not the place for me to write an essay on my views. But yes, this is what you should do. Or just continue the escalation until the whole world is on fire. Fight tanks with bigger thanks, fight bombs with bigger bombs to the point where there is nothing left to fight for.

How do you know that will work? Maybe you are only making those ties to their government stronger (by cutting off all other ties).
