What if we could gift other players, Lichess Patron Membership? Probably to one of our favorite streamer or to a friend!

Lichess patrons enjoy the same services and features as everybody else, so what is there to gift?
In another website, chess dot com, gifting a subscription makes sense because it means giving someone access to paid features. But in this website every account has access to every feature, and the developers promise that it will remain that way as long as their website exists.

Gifting a donation in someone's name is very common

Patron icon should only be for those who value Lichess enough to donate. It's not like a Twitch sub badge that gives some privileges and that you lose after a month
@St-George donations is how lichess is kept alive.. the recipient gets the patron icon *and* lichess gets monies
