True players never complain about rating loss. They just play and enjoy sport!
And for cheaters, they get IP banned or something like that as mentioned in the policy. They may find loopholes but cheat detection system of Lichess is super that if any player cheats, they are caught up!

I once played a cheater in a CFC rated tourney and lost to a cheater, I got my rating back but the cheater didn't get banned or anything, CFC just counted his games in that tournament as a loss. Also, the organizer of the tournament even openly admitted that he uses engines in causual games against his students :O. The organizer let the cheater open a new account to finish the tournament(his account got restricted in the middle of the tournament) and I reported the new account. Lichess didn't do anything about it :O! Now some of you guys are gonna say that I can't prove that they opened a new account, but Lichess can just check their IP Address. Lichess mods you've got a lot of explaining to do.

While, that is a good point, at some point cheaters will get bored, of cheating and getting caught

Then comes cheaters with no actual work and they are naturally inclined towards cheating!

Don't know whether cheater actually gets bored, they have several ways to do cheating I'm different games.

i lose games to cheaters all the time on a different site i report them and the site does nothing and i never get my points back.
