Good afternoon. In a related post ( lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/study-from-a-pgn-file ) I finally found the way to create a study from a PGN-file. Now I have the problem that the comments are often incomplete (see: lichess.org/study/FGR3qtvR ). As you see, many of them end in "[...]" Why does it happen? Is there a certain limit in the amount of characters allowed in the comments section? Should I split them in shorter parts? What is the maximal length for a comment?
I think that there is a limit of how many characters can fit in the notation area. If you hit the comment speech bubble at the bottom, you can see the whole comment. I truly am impressed at how much you have written though. However, I do not know the exact maximum length.
Alright, it was a missunderstood! On the right there is a preview of the notes on each move, which are shown in full length at the bottom of the screen when you step into the related move. Thank you!
PS. I created this study long time ago as a PGN-file with the app DroidFish. It is actually a transcription from PDF-files by other authors. You can find them here: http://www.tabladeflandes.com/cuadernos_de_ajedrez.php Now I will continue this project here on lichess!
