@tpr in response to #5, if you look at the Country list there are actually quite a few like the ones you say, there is Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Gibraltar, England (basically all the parts of the UK),Greenland (wich is technically part of Denmark) , look it up in the profile Country list . So once again if those are available as Countries why cannot Catalonia be available. There are also a lot of Islands which pertain to other countries like Mariana Islands, Montserrat, Isle of Mann and a lot others. And besides all that there is the option of Antartica, Christmas Island , UN , Pirate and Rainbow.
Actually I did look it up, and it turns out Greenland is an autonomous dependent! Now I'm even more confused.
As long as Catalonia is not an internationally accepted state, this should not happen.
