Different colored markings

Sorry for being a noob, but could someone pls tell me how to make red and possibly orange or other color markings with my mouse? I only know how to make green ones, but ive seen other colors.

Press the following keys while drawing an arrow:

alt: blue
shift: red
alt+shift: yellow
